YEONGI

Jack is a poor artist who wins his ticket to Titanic in a lucky round of poker. Rose is a first class passenger, engaged to a man who is picked by family. But her fiancée is very unkind and abusive towards Rose. She feels helplessly trapped by her situation and makes her way to the aft deck and thinks of suicide until Jack rescues her.

 

From then on their love blossoms, to a love so true they are willing to risk their lives for one another. As fate would have it, Titanic strikes an iceberg and begins to sink. Rose chose to stay with Jack although she has the chance to escape first.

 

They were not able to get into a lifeboat and the water was freezing cold. Finally, Jack was able to get Rose onto what appeared to be a floating board. Jack gave his life to spare Rose and saved her. Rose survived.
